  4. Milling: The design is sent to the in-office milling machine, which carves your crown from a solid block of high-strength dental ceramic. This takes about 15 minutes.
  5. Placement: Dr. Tagg checks the fit and color, makes any fine adjustments, then bonds the crown permanently to your tooth using dental cement. The crown is polished to a natural finish.

  • Are CEREC crowns as strong as traditional crowns?
