How a Dental Crown Can Transform Your Smile
At Jupiter Dentistry we are not just doctors, we are artists. Dentistry is a service where both your health and the esthetics play a role, and Dr. Jessica Wyatt and Dr. Ajmo have mastered the right balance. A well-designed dental crown can totally change your appearance for the better.
We use E.Max® ceramic crowns because the material is strong and tough while having a very elegant and delicate look. They are made to be virtually indistinguishable from your natural teeth.
Am I A Candidate?
Dental crowns can replace missing teeth, as well as severely eroded or damaged teeth. If you suffer from a sharp toothache and your tooth must be extracted, a ceramic crown is an excellent choice for replacement.
Candidates should typically be in good oral health. If you suffer from periodontal disease or dental caries, there is no need to worry, we can take care of you.
The Restorative Dental Crowns Procedure
First, there’s a consultation with Dr. Wyatt or Dr. Ajmo. We will assess your oral health and develop a treatment plan individualized to you.
Before the procedure, any decayed tissue will be removed. Afterward, we can place the crown. In a cosmetic procedure, the crown would be placed over the natural tooth. For restorative treatments, the affected tooth is usually already missing or is otherwise extracted. The crown replaces it, held in place by a dental bridge or by a dental implant.
Start on Your Path Toward a Stunning, New Smile
A dental crown can be a magnificent investment in your health and your wellbeing. By replacing a missing or decayed tooth, an artist-crafted crown can restore your smile’s brilliance and luster, giving it a remarkably youthful shine.
With our state-of-the-art facilities and highly trained staff, you will be hard-pressed to find a better dentist in South Florida. Dr. Ajmo is a master at the Rosenthal Institute, holds a mastership from the prestigious Misch Institute, and a diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
